Sex

Your Ad Here

The Purpose of this ad is to sell advertising space.

The intended audience is for businesses and companies looking for ad space, but I think that’s not the audience that is going to notice it.

It’s a billboard sign with a woman’s butt with the text “Your Ad Here” on her bathing suit.

Its high contrast of Blue Ocean and blue bathing suit against the skin tone and white text.

With the high contrast of color, Perception. Sensation, because it is sexual. Emotion, mostly to men because it is sexual and a women.

I think it is really demining to women. Our cultural has high stereotypes for men and women and is very “sex sells” oriented.

It’s going to catch attention, and for a bill board that what you want.

Fruit

Aides

The Purpose of this ad is public service annocment to promote aides awareness.

The intended audience is to permisques men and women.

It’s two different pictures of a man and a women in intement settings with insects. And it has the Aides ribbon down in the corner.

The pictures are very dominant and eye catching because of the risqué nature, and the text you kind of have to look for.

Sensation, because of the sexuality of it. And Identification, because a lot of people can relate to one night stands.

We are a very permiques culture, and sometimes the body overpowers the mind and people don’t always make the right disisons.

Because of its nature it is eye catching. But you have to look hard to see what the ad is for.

Men's Magazine

The purpose of this ad is to promote this men’s magazine.

The intended audience is to men looking for something new in there life.

It’s a men sitting at his desk with a swimsuit modal calendar next to him, but instead of a picture it’s a real girl. The text is very small in the bottom corner.

I don’t thing they work well together because the picture and the text don’t work well together.

Sensation and Emotion, because of the sexuality of it. And maybe a little bit of identification, to men who feel like this guy in the picture.

There are two cultural stereotypes here. One that women are just objects and two that men are all pigs.

Its too hard to see what this ad is for, you think its for a calendar not a magazine.

PETA

The purpose of this ad is to get the public aware of elephant cruelty in Thai.

The intended audience is for animal rights activist.

It’s a naked man chained up with text saying, “Wild animals don’t belong in chains.”

Very high contrast, but I don’t think they work well together. What dose a naked man have to do with PETA?

Perception, because of the high contrast between the white background and skin tones. Sensation, because of the naked man. Emotion, if you read the text and feel for the elephants.

The cultural values are that a man is a wild animal and should not have to be tied down. I think of the idea of married men with the “old ball and chain”. Also that people value animals, but really if you didn’t read the text your wouldn’t even think of elephants.

The Picture and the text do don’t work together. You can’t take the elephant cruelty seriously when it is being compared to a naked man.

Why People Vacation

The major reasons people go on vacation, ranked by survey results, include:
To build and strengthen relationships. The number one reason for going on vacation is to be together as a family. Families find they have little time to be alone together. They want to get away from the stress of home and work. They look to travel as an opportunity to rekindle relationships. Many also seek social interactions on trips, and view vacations as a time for making new friends.

To improve health and wellbeing. The vast majority of adults say that a vacation is vital to their family's physical and mental well being. Most travelers want to refresh and renew themselves by actively participating in outdoor activities.

To rest and relax. Getting away from work, worry, and effort enables vacationers to refresh and renew. This is the third most common reason why Americans vacation.

To have an adventure. Many travelers look to vacations for exciting experiences that stir emotions. Adventure, whether dangerous or romantic, provides the heightened sensation that these consumers seek.

To escape. Many people travel to gain respite from routines, worry, and stress. They are looking for something different: a better climate, prettier scenery, slower pace of life, cleaner air, quieter surroundings or anything else that is missing or deficient in their lives back home.

For knowledge. Learning and discovery are strong motivators for today's better-educated travelers. People travel to learn or practice a language, study a culture, explore gourmet foods or wines, investigate spirituality, discover something about themselves, or a host of other learning pursuits. They want to see, touch, or feel something unfamiliar.

To mark a special occasion. Some travelers take vacations to celebrate milestones in their lives: new relationships, marriages, birthdays, or professional achievements. Vacations that mark special occasions are usually taken with loved ones and provide memories that last a lifetime.

To save money or time. Although going on vacation almost always costs money and time, where one goes on vacation can influence costs. Money and time constrain virtually every vacation decision. By traveling close to home, or taking a short vacation, travelers can save time and money.

To reminisce. Many people travel to relive fond memories. In the case of agritourism, some vacationers, especially older travelers, will choose a farm visit to rekindle memories of the simple, rural lifestyle they remember from childhood. Vacationers pay money for food, lodging, transportation, and souvenirs, but they are really buying a sentimental journey.
